I have always had a thing for starfish jewellery since I was a child. I think it stems from the day when I first found a rock pool at the beach and saw some lovely starfish. I wanted to take them home and have them as pets but thankfully my parents persuaded me that they would not be very happy living with me. Since then I have started to collect beautiful things in starfish designs. I have not got that many things as I only pick really special pieces, I see no point in buying something just for the sake of it. I have only got one other piece of starfish jewellery which is a lovely starfish necklace and I have been looking for ages for some other jewellery to go with it. I look around all the time but nothing comes close and I think that I will just have to match it with plain jewellery and make a big statement with it alone rather than trying to get other bits and pieces to mix in with it. I am sure it will look lovely with a plain outfit when I can really show it off, which is what it deserves.
