My brother in law is having a fancy dress party soon to celebrate his birthday. The theme is the 1980’s and so I have been looking around for some 80’s costumes. The 80’s fashions are around a bit at the moment, there are plenty of luminous socks and shoes as well as leggings, but I want something which looks more like I have made an effort! My husband is going to get one of those 80’s t shirts which seem to be around at the moment and I think that would work for him if he wore it with some faded ripped knee jeans. He normally always wears movie t shirts and so I think that he will look significantly different. I am wondering whether to dress like someone from an 80’s film or pop group. Hopefully I will find some good ideas on the Internet and be able to come up with something good but also funny! I am not usually that good at coming up with this sort of idea but I am sure that if I give myself plenty of time to get a costume together, I will be able to do something good.
